The sandwich shop, located at 72 Newtown Road in Danbury, will open on Wednesday, March 23, and a grand opening fundraiser event will take place through Sunday, March 27, to support the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, according to an announcement from the business.
Representatives said guests who have a special fundraising coupon can make a minimum of a $3 contribution to the games in exchange for a regular sub.
“My team and I are thrilled to be opening our first of two locations in Danbury,” franchise owner Mitch Thomson said. “The month of March is so special for our company and we are thrilled to support the Special Olympics competing this summer. We are excited to invite everyone in to be a part of something bigger, the sub above experience and we look forward to continuing Jersey Mike’s community focused business practices.”
The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Those interested in working at the sandwich shop can apply by emailing Danielle Ruddy at DRuddy@JMKMSubs.com, representatives said.
